DEAR BANKERS,
As per the minimum wages formula the Government employees are getting 18000 as on 01st Jan 2016 and they demand this minimum to be increased to 28000.
The Grade A officers are getting 56100 minimum @3.12 times of 18000 pm as on 01st Jan 2016 and will be 87360 pm if 28000 is accepted.
👉 *15% increase will not bring more than 40000 and 20% may be giving 43000 but minimum wages formula will be bringing 58500 minimum or the scale 1 officers and the scale VII will get the minimum of 2.25 lacs. Scale I officers are equated to grade A officers as per Pillai committee*.👈
GOI has equated the scale 1 officers with Grade A officers to arrive the income criteria to be placed them under creamy layer so as to deprive them from some concessions which otherwise they are entitled too.
Now the GOI passed the CODE ON WAGES BILL 2019 and notified on 8th August after getting assent from the president, as per which All the workforce in the country will get salary as per the minimum wages policy which includes the officers working in the banking industry too.
So, WE DEMAND JUST AND RIGHT
1. Settlement of Wage revision based on Minimum Wages principles as incorporated in Charter of Demands
