All India Bank strike from midnight of 25th Sep to 29th Sep including two holidys


All India Bank Strike on 26th Sept & 27th Sept against Marger of Bank, Early Settlement, 5 days Banking, reduced Cash Transactions Time, Reduction in Service Charges for Customers and

*Indefinite Strike from 2nd Week of Nov 2019*

Dear Brothers and Sisters ,

As informed earlier , today at Delhi in UFBU MEETING, the matter related to Performance Linked Incentive ( PLI) , recent declarations of PSB mega mergers and unnecessarily delayed wage negotiations was discussed at length.

All are aware that this time due to the ticklish issue of fractured mandate, the focus of consideration by officers’ unions and that of award staff is remaining different at each round of discussions.

Today After threadbare discussions, it *unanimously* emerged that vehement and strict opposition is must against the recent policy decisions of Finance ministry / IBA by all UFBU constituents. As such joint Dharna and submission of representation to Hon Finance Minister is **planned by UFBU at New Delhi on 20th September, 2019 *

The present offer by IBA @ 10% + PLI is no where near the expectations of UFBU and is outright rejected by latter .

However, because of the keen and intense expectations of the officers’ fraternity, all out differences in focus , basic priorities and perspectives of different unions the unanimity could not be reached for the strike action in the beginning though most of the unions are primarily in favour of adherence to strike at different stages.

As such , initially *all four officers’ unions have jointly decided to observe two days strike on 26-27th September, 2019( 48 hours from midnight of 25th till the midnight of 27th September, 2019 )*. Award staff unions have extended their fraternal support in this round .

And on 20 th September,2019 after the joint UFBU action as spelt out above , the meeting of all constituents would be convened again at Delhi .

*The next rounds of longer / indefinite strike supplemented with all other organisational agitation measures* for expressing sharply against the utter disturbances caused to all officers and employees would be decided in the said meeting on 20.9.2019 after reviewing the response of government/ IBA.

In the meanwhile, the combined view of UFBU to oppose IBA’s any precondition , of acceptance of proposed Performance Linked Incentive , before its discussions and decisions on critical fractured mandate issue and / or upward revision in wage offer, would be categorically conveyed to IBA by the Convenor, UFBU immediately.

We would keep all the members informed about the developments. All our affiliate units are requested to unite strongly in all the rounds of protest from the utmost devotion and make the agitation a grand successful event.
