Who are eligible for fixed personal pay and professional qualification pay

Fixed personal pay is computerisation allowance. It was compensation given to the employees at that time. Not applicable for those who are joined after 1993. PQP is professional qualification pay.

It is given after stagnation. A graduate will get 2 PQP.

A graduate with JAIIB will get 3 PQP.

A graduate with CAIIB will get 5 PQP.

1st PQP will get after 1 year of stagnation.

2nd PQP will get after 2 years of stagnation.

3rd after 3 years

4th after 4 years and

5th after 5 years.

The employees / officers who were in the Bank's service as on 01.11.1993 were granted one advance increment on account of computerization in year 1993 and employees on reaching the maximum of respective scales of pay are eligible to be granted Fixed Personal Pay (FPP) equal to the last increment drawn by them in the caddre / scale, on completion of one year in the maximum of the respective scales of pay.

So far the FPP as stated in the joint note that it shall remain frozen for the entire service irrespective of whether the officer concerned is promoted to the next higher scale . However after the 8th bipartite settlement a clarification was issued by IBA to the effect that if an officer is promoted from one scale to another after reaching the maximum in the previous scale and receiving FPP; the frozen FPP shall continue to be paid till the officer reaches the maximum in the revised scale and after completing one year of maximum in the revised scale the FPP would be revised as applicable to the scale of promotion.

GRADUATION PAY/ PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION PAY

For those workmen who hereafter reach or have already reached 20thstage of the scale and have got increments in consideration of educational qualification(s), Graduation Pay/ Professional Qualification Pay shall be payable as under:
