Post-signing of MoU, discussions in regard to distribution of wage load under various heads of allowances/aid is to reach culmination, with a meeting on Nov. 9@Mumbai with IBA. Workmen Unions' participation is confirmed.
The meeting is at IBA Committee Room at 11.30 am. As we know, the cost sheets for Officers Associations and Workmen Unions have
already been signed. Next logical step is to move towards signing the 11th Bipartite Settlement/Joint Note.
In the meeting, residual and common issues are expected to be discussed for clarity, commitment and conclusion.
*Journey ardous*...
All of us witnessed and participated in a long but sustained journey for realising the charter of demands. We faced many hurdles. Management raised issues like cost-to-company, variable pay, bank-wise pay, compulsory retirements, fetter-free transfers, restricted mandate etc., dragged the discussions but Unions could surmount unitedly.
*Peculiar positions, strange situations...*
At some stage, non-participation in negotiations by two of the officer unions made IBA to propose reframing the rules of negotiations. Among Officer Unions, minimum wages concept, wages code, pay commission formula etc. caused confusions. Parallel legal pursuits by these confused segments forced IBA to require clarity from those unions. Mid-way, officers unions had to revisit the demand-charter itself. The delays caused by all these developments, Nirav-Modi scam, Parliament elections etc. also prolonged the process.
*Unity needed...*
Post-MoU, workmen Unions proceeded with the load distribution upholding the principles of relativity and parity. But it was strange and surprising the supervisory-cadre unions openly opposed such principles and hurriedly signed the cost-worksheet and planned separate signing despite the fact that *Unions began the process as UFBU, negotiated and struggled together as UFBU, signed MoU on July 22 as UFBU.* Even now, demanding `exclusive' meeting by Officer Unions to discuss common/residual issues is not understandable.
Any way, Bank Employes and Officers need wage revision and service-conditions' upgradation. As the largest and oldest Trade Union of Bank Employees, being the one union that settled and signed all ten previous Bipartite Settlements, AlBEA, with its experience-expertise-rich Leadership will play its due responsible and responsive role in making 11th Bipartite Settlement a reality.

Don’t call them leaders. they are the dalals. It is because of AIBEA and your main Dalal CHV Bank clerks salary is less than Govt. Chaprasi. God knows when he will die. Don’t take pride in the fact that AIBEA is the only union that sign 10 BPS and now 11th. You will call this BPS also historic achievement but if you have little same and little fear of god, please Introspect and analyse your historic BLUNDERS.

People those are crying and oppose each n every settlement are those who never take promotions due to postings..
They want to become Clerk or scale 1 officer for their life and when everytime settlement comes to an end they start crying like anything.
God save banking from these idiots who opt not to take promotions and always start abusing our union leaders.

i joined in south as a scale 1 den after 2 yrs got my home state,again after taking promotion after 2 years got posting in south again.But m enjoying life..But u people start cry like hell when settlement is about to sign.
