Disappearance of two increments and
Discrimination
10 th bipartite clerical starting pay pay : Rs 11765 this is for matriculate qualification. It was conveyed at the time taking up demands for 11 th bipartite that after graduation became qualification for clerks, pay of clerks was to be restructured .. which means with the same graduation qualification for both clerks and officers , clerks pay must progress far better than the 10 th bipartite. In 10 the bipartite there were two separate increments for graduation and as this looked awkward and not reasonable restructuring was stressed with better fresher pay for clerks.
Now with the details available so far the new initial basic fresher is fixed as Rs 17900 for clerks..
Do the following calculation : 10 th bipartite Rs 11765 + add DA merger 47.8% Rs5624 + 2.5 basic great load ....Rs 17389 + 2.5% = Rs 17825 ....
Hence matriculation SSLC qualification Rs 11765 basic pay is now simply modified with no change at all with DA merger and 2.5% load...
Where is graduation pay structuring ??
or otherwise where are the two increments given for graduation??
It was not mentioned anywhere...
Hence these graduation increments sacrificed , disappeared and no restructuring was done also..
As Clerks find it difficult to run a family with meager pay, the 11 th bipartite was the right time to do the restructuring but not done now ..
In banks only clerks : officer pay stand at 2.5 times difference .. Even in central govt pay which some officer organizations are demanding , the difference between clerks and officers is not 2.5 time but only 40-50% more.
Hence an injustice not corrected during this bipartite also...
