In today's meeting with IBA, we reiterated our demand for special allowance at 20%. IBA offered 16.4% as agreed by officers associations. We did not accept this offer. Detailed circular follows.

This move is clearly pointing towards nullification of DA on special pay. In practical there will be meagre increase in gross pay as 1.Basic will only increase by just 1.51% 2.DA will be merged to basic and remaining DA will be reduced by further reduction of slab 3.No DA on special pay. Salary before revision= 4+3+2+1=10 Salary after revision= 6+1+3=10
