Text of AIBOC Circular No.49/2015 dated 15.07.2015
 Dear Comrades,
AMICABLE SOLUTION PUTS AN END TO DBOO STRUGGLE OF 33 DAYS TWO DAYS STATE WIDE STRIKE IN KERALA CALLED OFF The struggle of the militant, devoted and dedicated comrades of DBOO against the tyranny of Dhanlaxmi Bank Management ultimately came to an end after historically long indefinite strike of 33 days and the indefinite hunger strike of 14 days. Our salutations to this display of steadfastness, strong character, solidarity, and strong will of the comrades against an unjust and vindictive Management. What was more remarkable in this long struggle was the participation of all young comrades including our lady comrades, displaying reaffirmation of their full faith on their leadership. Their agitation having gained massive support from all over the State made Dhanlaxmi Bank Management rethink about their reprehensible acts and to come to terms for an amicable solution. We had advised through messages and mail that Sh. Ramesh Chennithala, the Hon’ble Home Minister of Kerala state convened a meeting between Dhanlaxmi Bank Management and our Confederation in his chamber on 13th July, 2015, in which Central Trade Union Leaders Com. Ilamaram Karim, State Secretary CITU, Com. K. P. Rajendran, State Secretary AITUC, Com. R. Chandrasekharan, State President INTUC were also present. Our Confederation was represented by Com. Y. Sudarsan, the President, Com. Franco Rajendra Dev, Jt General Secretary, Com. Abraham Shaji John Kerala State Secretary and Com. Vijaya Ananda Krishna, President DBOO whereas the DLB Management was represented by Sri G. Sreeram, MD, Sri Manikantan, CGM, Sri Chandran, DGM and Sri Rajan, Consultant. The meeting continued for the second day, i.e. on 14th July,2015 to find out some mutually acceptable formula. Representatives of both side explained their respective positions. Central Trade Union Leaders 2 in between expressed their views more particularly on the outdated nature of Clause 14 (i) invoked by the Management. We are happy that sufferings of our comrades for such a long period were put to rest with the intervention of the Hon’ble Home Minister. Ultimately an amicable solution was found and agreed upon, breaking the impasse. Consequentially the two sides agreed to mutually accepted terms and the two days strike call has been called off. We are happy that the determination, dynamism and solidarity to fight injustice has not gone in vain and convey our sincere wishes for restoration and continuation of a wonderful industrial relations in the Dhanlaxmi Bank. With revolutionary greetings,
 Comradely yours,
 (HARVINDER SINGH) GENERAL SECRETARY

OUR UNITY… LONG LIVE! DBOO…. LONG LIVE !! AIBOC… LONG LIVE!!!
