If yes, from which date it is applicable?
Will bank pay arrears of gratuity to staff who retired since 01.01.2016?
If not ,when it (enhanced gratuity Rs20.00 lac) is likely to be put into action?

No,the bankers will not get enhanced gratuity from back date.It has happened with bankers in past also when the limit was raised to RS.10 lacs
