After 7th CPC a Railway booking clerk will get Rs.57,250 as agaisnt the 18000 drawn by Bank Clerk and 30000 drawn by Bank Officers.
The entire thing has to be read against the backdrop that during the year 2012-13, Railways made a loss of Rs.24,600 and the minister then was quick in attributing the loss to the gloomy Economic Scenario prevailing in the country.

It is worth to mention here that IBA restricted the Xth wage revision to 5% citing poor profitability of Banks, whereas data reveals that during the last 5 years, Gross Profit of PSBs jumped by141% to Rs.1,07,731Cr.
Can anyone explain the rational prevailing in this GREAT country in giving Rs.57000 salary to a booking clerk who key- in nothing but passenger detail and a bank officer who appraise and sanctions credit worth crores of rupees!
Let us project as an example the salary received by a Booking Clerk in Railway and the working-conditions compared to a Bankers.

Sir, plz don't post wrong information..at entry level commercial clerk will get 8250 basic only.if calculate da hra etc ,their gross comes 19000.they shud work whole nights sometimes..taking leave or enjoying holiday is not possible easily for railway employees..they shud work like call centres...you go and see their salary slip then u post comment..before posting anything u must see the truth

This chamchas should feel ashamed to compare the salary after 7th CPC. No leader in the bank can make fool to members. U chamchas with ur leaders will destroy ordinary members. I will suggest all youngsters having age to appear govt jobs should prepare for those jobs and quit bank for better salary and better life. Do not rely these cheater and betrayer bank Union leaders.
This fellow who posted this comment neither know how much a booking clerk gets nor a bank officers salary. As of now, a bank officer gets Rs.38000/-( SBI officer gets Rs.6000 more)Railway clerk will get around 20000.Please don't post incorrect information.....

The fellows those have no shame they r still making fool the ordinary bank employees. Do not think the employees r fool to believe betrayors for long. Banks wage revision is every 5 years,next 11th bps is from nov-2017. Where as for railways it us 10years once..if we take salry slip of commercial clerk or station master or guard..salry will be high..bcoz guard shud work contineously 5 days day and night..even if clerk or station master wants leave ,they can't sanction easily..this is rule..they shud work comtineously day and night till another person comes and join..before throwing g bad words first be as banker..I think one person abusing is not a banker may be he is cheap chappar
