I completed my 12th in 2018… joined MU Bcom IDOL course in 2019… and working since june 2020 as security guard for a agency.
My father lost his job in Mumbai owing to prolonged leaves in ganesh festival and dengue thereafter .He was working as a salesman in a hardware store in Mumbai. Now all hopes crashed as covid came and no job …all savings were about to get over…
Then I started searching for jobs through internet. I applied for all 12th pass jobs…finally I got a mail from a security agency in andheri regarding guard job…and interview next day.
My friends arranged for e pass and I reached mumbai the next day .. They checked my height 5′7 and weight 59 kgs…and gave me joining letter .Initially I was given duty at one factory gate ,taking entries ,closing and opening gate …I lived there in cabin only …food was arranged from nearby mess. Salary given was 8000 p.m…
I sent money transfer 7000rs to home to my father and kept 1000 with me. As duty hours was 12 hours…and I didnt have enough money to live on rent …I slept in cabin …and then after 5 months ,in november end company alloted me new place of 7 floor residential building …same work …entry ..managing kids, water pump …and then enjoying. Building had good quarters for servants/watchmen so I stay there at night.
My salary is still the same when I write this answer in july 2021 and next year I will graduate. My father got a job there in ratnagiri at a local garment shop this january …but is paid only 5000rs p.m.
Overall security guard job is requiring good leg strength as we are not allowed to sit while on duty at gate at factory…some members of society tower treat me nicely while they see me studying books..while some call me chotu… Everyday in evening I get call from some members to wash their cars …which I do…they pay me 30- 50 rs …..
I am hopeful that once I graduate I will get good job
