AS THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC IS ON A RISE THERE WAS A DILEMMA ABOUT THE MOST AWAITED IBPS BANK EXAM DATES. NOW IBPS HAS COME WITH THE GOOD NEWS REGARDING THE FIRST EXAM TO BE CONDUCTED.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced IBPS RRB 2020 exam dates for prelims and mains exams. The prelims exam for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant will be conducted on September 12, 13, 19, 20 and 26, 2020. The single examination(no seperate prelims and mains) for Officers Scale II and III will be conducted on October 18, 2020. The mains exam for Office Assistant will be conducted on October 31 while the mains exam for Officers Scale I will be held on October 18, 2020.
The exams were postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, the IBPS RRB prelims exam for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant was scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2, 8, 9 & 16. The single-level exam for Officers Scale II and III and mains exam for Officers Scale I was scheduled to be held on September 13th. The mains exam for Office Assistant was scheduled to be held on September 13th.

The selection for Officer Scale 1 includes the Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview while a single level exam is conducted for the post of Officers Scale II and III followed by an interview. For Office Assistant posts, the selection is done on the basis of the Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview round.
Candidates who have applied for the examination should note that there will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
