Provisions for bad loans were quite high at Rs 3,237 crore, up 113.7 percent over preceding quarter and 236 percent over a year-ago period.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) share price plunged over 11 per cent on Monday on BSE after the state-owned bank reported a net loss of Rs 550.83 crore for the quarter ended September, 2015 (Q2) against a net loss of Rs 245.51 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
