Home Minister – Center to give 33 % reservation to women in all para-military forces…

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that CISF will be the first among Central Armed Police Forces to achieve 33 percent reservation for women. 
He was speaking after reviewing the passing out parade of Assistant Commandants and Sub-Inspectors of CISF at the National Industrial Security Academy in Hyderabad.
He said that women represent 5.04 per cent of CISF force and the Centre had issued a circular to Union Territories wherein they have been directed to recruit 33 per cent women in police forces and similarly participation of women should increase in central paramilitary forces. 
The Home Minister said that if any force which will be the first to achieve the target of 33 per cent reservation for women, it will be CISF. 
Singh also said that cyber terrorism poses major threat to the entire world and terror attacks leave long lasting impact on people.
Rajnath Singh took salute and reviewed the passing parade of over 530 newly inducted CISF officers in Hyderabad. 
The Home Minister attended the event at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) of the paramilitary force where 48 freshly inducted and trained Assistant Commandants, eleven promotee ACs and 478 Sub-inspectors have passed. 
After reviewing the parade, the Home Minister also decorated meritorious and distinguished service medal-winning officers of the Central Industrial Security Force. 
CISF Director General Surender Singh and other senior officials of CISF were also present on the occasion.
