Friday (11/09) may bring cheer for West Bengal employees
West Bengal employees may find reasons to celebrate on 9th September. A conference is scheduled on Friday of West Bengal State Employees' Federation where Chief Minister will address the employees.
State employees are lagging behind in terms of D.A. to the extent of 49% in comparison to Central Govt. employees and the gap is widening in every six months, with regularannouncement of central D.A. Most of the state Govt.s except WB follows the central D.A. pattern.
In addition to this, central Govt. is all set to announce seventh pay commission for it's employees and pensioners and this will make the disparity manifold.
As per sources, CM is going to announce some good news regarding arrear D.A. and formation of new pay committee for state employees on Friday to bring cheer for the employees before the festive season and election next year.
