The English translation of my letter dated 06/06/2022
Dear friends
The amount of our pension is equal to the earnings of a roadside garbage collectors, beggars and street vendors.
2. We the pensioners have written so many letters to Prime Minister, Finance Minister, officers of IBA and leaders of UFBU but no one have tried for our pension revision.
3. It will take two minutes just like making noodles for Prime Minister and Finance Minister just to give order to IBA that pension revision of Banks pensioners must be done as per pattern of pension revision of Reserve Bank pensioners. For this they have taken twenty five years.
4. The officers of IBA have to prepare a report for pension revision and submit it to Finance Ministry. For this they also have taken twenty five years for preparing report.
6. UFBU have to write a letter to Govt. of India that if the pension revision of Banks Pensioners must be done on the pattern of Reserve Bank pensioners otherwise the present staff of Banks will take four days casual leave then the pension revision will be done on the basis of this threat.
6. We the pensioners request the UFBU that we are ready to contribute our monthly subscription to UFBU and ready to give levy in case of pension revision provided our pension revision must be done with wage revision on the pattern of Reserve Bank pensioners. For this we are ready to give authority letter to our Banks.
7. What have to do is to revise the pension from the interest of our Pension Fund deposit which the IBA and Finance Ministry have been postponing since 1997.
8. Some pensioners have filed case in Supreme Court but Supreme Court is giving date and again date but do not solving the problem.
9. Hundreds of pensioners have created Group on Social Media and trying to solve problem of Pension Revision. I am also trying to solve the problem on Social Media for last nine years but there are only false commitment and not solution.
10. Now the pensioners and pensioners union are left all alone. Now we the pensioners have to organise Dharna from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi if our pension revision is not done. The Dharna will continue until the Pension Revision is not decided.
11. The expenditure of lunch, three tea-cups, and expenditure of fifty participants from all over India and expenditure of electricity and tent will be done contributory. All this expenditure will be borne contributory by us i..e. pensioners. If all the pensioners are ready to contribute the expenditure then I am ready to lead Dharna.
12. If the pensioners are ready to wait for Pension Revision then I am also agree them. I invite your valuable suggestions.
13. We will struggle for Pension Revision and we will win.
