*Information about incidence Happened in Uran Branch, NMR, Bank of Baroda*
There is ZIAD audit is going on in Uran Branch since 21 February 2023, there is too much pressure in doing spot rectification for queries raised by auditor in audit as per new audit policy.
On 04/03/2023 there was target for doing India First Life Insurance policy of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
Branch staff talked with many customers and tried hard to do policy but unfortunately we were unable to convert lead.
At 7 pm Mr. Rahul Shrivastav, Marketing Manager at NMR, Mrs. Silk Smita, RBDM, NMR had called Branch Manager Uran Branch and instructed to Not do day end without completing target of Indiafirst Insurance policy. After that Branch Manager and Officer called some customer for doing India first Insurance policy, but customer are not ready to do the policy on phone few replied that we will come to branch and understand the policy and then decide whether to take or not.
At 9.30 Mr. Rahul Shrivasta called Branch Manager O P Singh about the policy done or not, Branch Manager replied that now it's 9.30 and customer will not receive phone call and almost all shops are closed in Uran give us permission to do day end and close the branch.
Mr. Rahul Shrivastav replied that do not do day end activity and don't go home without permission .
Branch Manager and Joint manager was sitting in branch for permission to close the branch no call or message received from Marketing department NMR.
At 11.00 called Branch Manager called RBDM Silk Smita on Video call for permission to close the branch , at that time silk Smita was at her home, and she said don't ask me you ask to Regional Head for permission to close Branch.
After that Branch Manager called Regional Manager for permission to close branch , she replied I have no idea about the branch is still open without my permission, RM called few minute later and given permission to close branch.
It was 11.15 pm in the clock and branch started doing day end but day end no happened due to technical problems at back end. Then branch given complaint in Smax Portal and put a mail to IT department.
Finally it was 11.40 pm in the clock to close the branch.
Uran is Semi urban area and no train connectivity is available. Private cab service and Bus services are not available after 9:00 pm.
Branch Manager and Joint Manager spent their night at ST stand waiting for vehicle.
*There are some* *questions about this incident.*
1. There are separate staff for India First life Insurance company but they are not doing business and branch staff are forced to sell policies instead of Short manpower.
2. Is Marketing Manager or RBDM is authorized to keep branch open up 11.40 pm without permission from RH/ZH.
3.Who is responsible if unfortunate event happens in late night in branches.
4. Is this fair enough that keeping branches open till midnight and marketing team is taking rest at their home.
We request you to pay attention to this issue and take some action against this inhuman business practices in bank.

what our mighty aiboc is doing for the helpless officers ?Some limit should be there to harsh staff . Our high officials are behaving as they have not worked in branches . but the truth is that most of the executives are never worked in grass root levels
