In 1995, I had with me three jobs, first was SBI Clerk, second was auditor in Ministry of Industry and third one was Probationary Assistant Station Master.
At that time pay scale of a SBI Clerk was Rs.1950-3360/- the pay scale of the auditor was Rs.1400/- 2300 and pay scale of a Prob Asst Station Master was Rs.1200/-2040/-.
I had selected the first one i.e. SBI Clerk due to higher scale. Now after approximately 25 years, I being promoted to Scale-IV, my basic pay is 54,410/-. And compared with the other two posts, if I were in second job I could have drawn a basic pay of 72600/--115000/-in a rough manner in the post of section officer(Audit) perhaps.
And if I were in third post, I could have drawn total gross salary worth 1,23,000/- along with usual admissible allowances to Railway employees and would have been station superintendent minimum.
So now I think I am underpaid with work pressure, mental agony and unusual transfer. So I have committed a great blunder in choosing Banking sector.

I left job in RBI as assistant and joined SBI as PO. If would have continued RBI i would have become AGM and my salry would have been far far far better than SBI

Please demand banking sector for cpc,instead of biparte wage revision, cpc-we get 5 days working as default, we get good wage settlement why because All Ias,Ips,employees salary comes under cpc.they are next to central goverment minister rank,they frame the wage chart and get approval from minister.i hope you will understand what iam explaining. Please forgot about announcing strike for biparte wage settlement in banking sector,please go for strike for demanding cpc wage settelement,all banking current employees,and retired employees will get reasonable pay for working in bank,and worked in bank. It is my sugesstion,kindly please think it sir for your poor banking employees.
I too hold same adverse fate of life .. It's destiny.
