The head office was crowded with retired officers

Seeing that the retirement period has increased.

HR came to know that all of them are coming to interview the Concurrent Auditor.

Trying their luck for an accountant at the bank.

Big big big big bank legends came in the interview.

Some for auditor and some for trainer in training center. I

I was surprised to see them -

Those who said during retirement that they will spend the second shift of life with their family.

I will remove all the complaints of wife and children and feed them to my grandchildren.

I have done a lot of bank jobs, now I will not come into it even by mistake.

I will not increase my BP by taking tension of night and day.

But what is this -

Not even two-three months have passed spending time with wife-children.

Feeding the grandchildren.

Made his promise during retirement.

And reunited with the bank as a concrete auditor.

I asked a retired officer the reason to rejoin the bank.

Initially they didn't know the answer.

Then slowly they came closer to me,

And some whispers in my ears.

I said, sir, make a voice out of your mouth.

There is no one to listen here, speak whatever is in your mind.

Now even the officers are openly vocal.

Everything that was in the heart has been spit out.

Said -

After retirement, the family members welcomed me with the band.

Along with the family, the neighbors also loaded with garlands.

It felt as if I have conquered Himalayas.

And bring happiness to everyone.

I felt like a celebrity after seeing such a treat.

I started thinking how much everyone loves me.

Weeks, two weeks everyone served.

Then slowly everyone started handing over their work.

Now everyone's expectations for household chores are increasing.

Seeing me sitting empty, all eyes started keeping on me.

What to tell,

Wife left the choice to me sharing the housework in half.

I asked to select two works out of four that I like.

It didn't end here,

Daughter-in-law also stepped one step ahead.

Papa ji Chintu is crying, please visit the garden.

Don't make wet on the way, so take diaper with you.

Thus the dream of enjoying retirement became infidel within a month.

Got shattered before enjoying the second innings of life.

Made up my mind to stay away from daily hustle.

And so came to interview the Concurrent Auditor to reconnect with the bank.
