According to section 17(1) of RRB ACT 1976, the salaries of RRB staff will be decided by Central Govt. By comparing the same cadre salaries of state govt. Employees in which the RRB has been established.
However generally the CG will give nod to the salaries hike as per BPS in PSBs. All the Pay components which have DA heads will be provided on par with PSBs to RRBs, other allowances are of the discretion level of respective board.
So, RRB staff should wait until the Central Government issues a notification regarding the same. However it won't take more than 3 months in general.
