Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan on Friday proposed inclusion of financial literacy in school curriculum.
Rajan, who arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit, also praised the growth of Madhya Pradesh after calling on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his official residence here, an official spokesperson said.
Chouhan said the rating of states should be done on the basis of their financial position, the spokesperson added.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Antony DeSa and Industries Commissioner V L Kantha Rao were also present on the occasion.
